My journey into the world of mental health began with a headset and a heartbeat at AGORA Crisis Center, where I volunteered during my undergrad at UNM. Sitting with strangers in their darkest hours taught me something powerful: just being there—really being there—can make all the difference. That experience lit a fire in me to keep showing up for people in meaningful ways, and I’ve been following that calling ever since.
Today, I specialize in helping adults move through the deeply human experiences of grief, aging, life transitions, and self-worth. If you’re navigating the complexities of growing older, caring for aging parents, coping with loss, or asking big “Who am I now?” questions, you’re in the right place.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2018, with specializations in Gerontology and Animal-Assisted Therapy (because sometimes the best co-therapist has four legs and fur). Over the past five years, I’ve worked closely with the aging community—supporting older adults, caregivers, and families as they navigate the emotional, logistical, and often overwhelming realities of growing older and saying goodbye.
My style as a therapist is warm, real, and just the right amount of playful. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a performance. We’ll explore the tender stuff, yes—but we’ll also celebrate wins, laugh when it’s right, and create a space where all parts of you are welcome. Healing doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be honest.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Family Studies from the University of New Mexico, and I integrate evidence-based practices with deep compassion, curiosity, and a belief in your capacity to grow. My work is rooted in the idea that we all deserve to be treated like humans first—not diagnoses.
Outside the therapy room, I’m all about my dogs, good food, reality TV, and meaningful connection. I believe in asking big questions, showing up authentically, and finding little moments of joy—even in the hard stuff.
If you’re looking for a therapist who can hold space for both the mess and the magic of life, I’d be honored to walk with you.
