Hi, my name is Clarice, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with experience in a wide range of social work practice and therapy. I have been practicing as an LMSW since 2018. I provide individual counseling for adolescents, adults of all ages, and have experience working with substance use/addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety and grief and loss.
I have a deep passion for helping individuals improve their emotional well-being and overcome challenges related to mental health. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as CBT, solution-focused therapy, a strength-based framework, and always work from a trauma-informed approach. I understand seeking help for mental health concerns can be difficult so I will provide a compassionate, safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions.
If you work with me, you can expect compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help you achieve your goals. I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives, and will work collaboratively with you to overcome challenges and create positive change.
I am native to New Mexico and grew up in a village in Northern New Mexico. I embrace my cultural roots and enjoy spending time immersed in nature going on long walks, fishing, spending time with my family and pets. I enjoy volunteering as a foster for animal rescues, I enjoy reading and have a passion to increase my personal growth and clinical strengths.
